There are some fantastic speakers lined up, including Julian Burnside QC, HREOC Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commissioner Tom Calma and SMH legal commentator Richard Ackland. The weekend also includes an alternative legal careers fair, leadership workshops, film screenings and of course some amazing social events.
Breaking Down Boundaries is a new conference organised by law students from six different universities, under the auspices of Breaking Down Boundaries Inc., a non-profit association.

The Professional Program Online gives you the advantage of direct admission in Queensland, full and part-time options, up to seven start dates during the year and onsite skills sessions in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and London.
For those completing Traineeships, The College also offers the Trainee Admission Program which provides the mandatory 90 hours of Programmed Training, and Supplementary Training if required, to help you satisfy Queensland admission requirements.
In 2008, the College will offer JCU law graduates LOCAL OPTIONS with the opportunity to undertake onsite skill sessions or workshops in Townsville instead of having to travel to Brisbane (subject to demand).
